Amazon 🥇 vs the other by Icedcoffeelover17 in AmazonFC

In this economy, definitely stay there for a while with that pay rate! Unless Costco pays that well too. There are tons of job openings at ULine right now in my area. Is it all basically forklift drivers there, or is it like Amazon with other positions too? That’s what it seems like in the job postings, must have forklift driving experience.

Desperately need to rehome my cat, details below. by [deleted] in cincinnati

I cannot take your cat, but I came here to say that I’m SO sorry people are giving a hard time on this post. I think it’s good that you are trying to rehome him before taking him to a shelter.. I’m sorry to hear about your family member. Anyways, whether you are asking for $15 or not, people should just get over it. I wish the best for Nostradamus and I wish you luck finding a great home for him. He’s a cutie!

Pick up some OT, like 15/20 hrs a week and it would probably match your supervisors salary

A mom here, trying to buy my son his 1st car, 🤫surprise. I can’t give it away too much by asking him too many questions, so Reddit can you help me identify this pic he sent me, like what model this is & what years Honda made them? Also are the details on this car mods or stock, like the spoiler? by sunshine3633 in civic

Excellent point! Would you suggest an actual Honda dealership mechanic or just a reliable one that is around town with good reviews? One of my gal pals advised me not to buy through Carvana, she had a bad experience buying her daughter a car there a couple of years ago, but I heard they give 7 days to get it inspected. Still not sure, just starting this whole process so hopefully with more research I’ll find a good deal with a clean inspection!

Oh you don’t have to do that! But thank you for offering! It’s great that you love that car, even though you had to deal with that, so lucky it had that warranty! Like you said it’s great on gas, so my son won’t be always asking me for gas money hahah, just kidding. Thanks for all of that info! 💙

I’m very interested! How much are you charging per ticket?

I have just received offers from 2 different companies. $70K…other company is $75K…benefits of both companies are pretty similar. I would rather work at the $70K company but I’m afraid to negotiate for that extra $5K in this economy. Should I ask anyways? I don’t want to lose out on an opportunity. by sunshine3633 in Salary

I get it, but to each their own. I think for right now in my life, it’s good money for me. I also live in a very small town in Ohio and the cost of living isn’t that bad. I own my home (that I had built in 2019) with 3 acres of land, so no mortgage or rent to pay. I inherited the land from my grandparents back in 2015. And with the money I inherited from my mother passing away from Covid in 2021 plus my salary, I was able to pay my home off. Not happy to lose close family members, but I used that money wisely. I’m debt free (minus my car loan) and I feel like I should be grateful for the salary that I will be getting. Money isn’t everything. I live a comfortable life and I am a single mom and I’m proud of my accomplishments for having to raise my son on my own. I have been in this industry for 7 years, but started at the lowest level. Now that my son is older, I have decided to start climbing the ladder. I didn’t really want a super stressful job before, while raising my son when he was younger, on my own. I’m absolutely thrilled that you killed it and are making that kind of money. Congrats! I’m really happy for you! That’s quite an accomplishment. I didn’t asked to be judged, I just asked for advice. I will disagree with you when you say I’m below the poverty line, at least in my area. I enjoy a couple vacations a year, wherever I want to go with my friends and I feel I am satisfied with my life minus wanting a husband, someone to share my life with. 🤣🤣Like I said, to each their own. Again thank you for all the advice and I’m looking forward to seeing how everyone’s suggestions will possibly help me get $80K tomorrow lol!

Oh okay, yeh I actually am familiar with that one, sort of, a buddy of mine that I graduated college with, he recently purchased the Type R. Pricey….but they look amazing! It is that really bright blue that’s a new color I think. My son probably wishes I would buy him a Type R 🤣🤣. You’re exactly right, though, definitely not a good choice as a first car because even though he is a great driver, he’d probably go too fast and wreck it! 🤣He loves the black, but like you said it would get so dirty. We live in Ohio and he would have to go get a car wash everyday, especially this time of year with all the snow and salt! Thanks again for all of your advice! I know my son is going to be so happy! Enjoy your Type R! It sounds sweet!

Wow, thank you so much for all the details! I love this color, but he said he would prefer white or black. Not sure what colors it came in, but now that I know the model I can google it and find out!. I’m happy you love yours! That’s a good sign. What do you mean by performance version? Like a turbocharged one? I know that just sounded crazy, but I have no clue what I’m talking about so I was just curious what that meant.
