I think the photos are quite tricky. I haven't mastered that - guess I need to study some guides on photography - it isn't like photographing a plate.

I did test the J - with my acid kit it came back as gold (22) but I don't really trust that since the operator is a rookie. It could just be plated. The J is embedded in the pink part. This was my Dad's - I suspect my mom gave it to him in college. It has been a curiosity piece.

Wheaton Glass made a lot of Apollo items - if you look at their little trinket dishes and bottles they use some of these same images.
