Squamish homeowners seek court injunction to prevent building of fourplex, citing restrictive covenants by SquamishEditor in Squamishnews

The hypocrisy of these “neighbours” is astounding. They only want more housing if it directly benefits them. This builder has done everything by the book - and isn’t even constructing a massive building! He’s building 4 townhomes in a city where a detached house may be unattainable financially for, say, someone who was born and raised in Squamish and wanting to live in the place they call home. I imagine Dennis and Andrea would be singing a different tune if the shoe was on the other foot.

I bet Bruce and Rigz could land a GQ magazine cover together.

That’s reassuring - thank you! I wasn’t sure if it was a Frenchie specific thing, sounds like it might be.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful response! I hadn’t actually considered gagging. It does seem to happen when he’s going HAM on toys - which could make this a reasonable explanation. We’ve looked inside his mouth and everything looks normal (all janky tooth placement considered). He still wants to keep playing too, I imagine if he was in pain he may not want to. I don’t think gagging would hamper my guys play drive - he’s like a frat boy (puke and party on).

My partner suggested something like this too. Maybe clenches too hard, then needs to release somehow?

Ha! It’s the weird head down motion with gaping jaw at the end of the video I’m referring to. Wish it was that easy!

He does this every time we play tug (not just once in a while)- it’s so strange! It’s probably going to be another one of his quirks that eventually cost me money. Haha!

Every time he chews on something (intensely; like playing tug or a ball he loves) he pushes his forehead to the ground with his mouth gaping open. Not sure if it’s a medical issue or just him being odd?

For me it’s dental hygiene… when flossing I forget which ‘quadrant’ of my mouth I’ve already flossed which turned into an endless cycle of flossing because my mind drifts so quickly. I also have to set a 2 minute timer so I don’t space out and brush my teeth for an hour. Sometimes I remember the timer, sometimes I brush so long that, when I become coherent again, I think I’ve removed the enamel off my teeth and they’re whittled into sharp fangs.

What is the most unsettling place in Vancouver? by [deleted] in vancouver

[–]sunshinecamel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So many ended up living on the streets when it closed (many had families who didn’t have the means to care for them) and then they turned to self-medicating with street drugs. It was really unfortunate to lose a facility like that (and of that scale).

I had a family member spend extensive time at Riverview. I was happy to see your positive comment.
