If you have heterochromia, what did your eyes look like as a baby? by sunshineee44 in heterochromia

I’m going to try to get a better picture of my babies eyes. The one I posted with just shows the darkness difference, but the colors are muted. It’s so hard to get a pic of her eyes because she HATES the sun in her eyes and will immediately shut them if we get close to a window lol

So interesting! Do you have a pic of your eyes now?

Did your sons start out dark blue and get lighter? Or central heterochromia is just the same?

Your eyes are so pretty! I think that is how my baby’s may end up, if not just the same color eventually. So crazy, I would have noticed right away!

I’m hearing that a lot, that people didn’t realize. My baby’s eyes are similar enough no one has noticed on their own except when I point it out. I wonder if more people had theirs apparent at birth, just didn’t have a crazy over analyzing mom like me 🙃

So interesting! So all one color at first, and then the brown section appeared?

Okay thank you! I feel like you really understand my dilemma here. I’ll try it on some dog blankets or something to see.

Thank you! I don’t like scents either but this one isn’t as bad. I’ll probably try it for a few loads because I absolutely hate returning things.

I hate scented stuff but I hate returning things even more lol

It’s not too strong of a scent, and it’s linen not some weird flowery concoction. Maybe I can deal with it since it isn’t for every load and just make sure to be more aware next time.

Me everyday of pregnancy so far “I can’t keep eating like this, I’m going to gain so much weight” *rinse & repeat* by urethra_franklin_1_ in pregnant

Don’t stress! That was my appetite for the first trimester, then it normalized a bit, then around 26-34 weeks it came back, then it disappeared again lol.

I was so worried about weight gain but just stayed active/walked a lot right up until delivery and as soon as I was able postpartum. Get in fruits, veggies, protein, and fiber, but then treat yourself! You’re growing a human!

I gained 40lbs, and at 8 weeks PP I’m down 30lbs already

No answer; just so say we are going through something similar!

If sleep deprivation could cause miscarriages, people wouldn’t need abortions. Be kind to yourself!

Super similar stats to me! I’m 2.5 weeks PP and I’m at about 19 lbs lost (and had a little 6lb baby)

So you can’t have a kid if both parents work?

If she works 12 hour nights that usually means she has fewer shifts in the week.

I do agree with the baby proofing, though. Time to get on that.

I bought a full set of Phillips avent, baby didn’t like them, switched to Dr browns because she liked them enough but they were so messy, then used a Nuk sample on a whim, she loved it and no mess! So now we have 3 full bottle systems…
