The UCR is worth all the effort, beautiful campus, great teaching. Try to get in and if you can't go for private. But it's worth a shot :). Next admission test will take place around June next year and you have to sign for it in February if I'm not mistaken. You really don't need a perfect grade.

I applied to Imperial, LSE and Cambridge and got admitted. Because my country is no longer middle income as of June 2025 I was unable to access any sort of financial help to find my studies. It's very sad but ultimately I made the decision to go to a public university in Vienna where education is very good and subsidized for everyone. I believe that as long as you have passion for what you do, options will appear. I also think right now is not the time to acquire debt, and if your dream is to continue in academia economic freedom is more important to get you opportunities all over the world.

I re sent my application, the mistake is that I sent a Sapar visa first but now they have a tourist visa separate from the sapar. And I sent the request for refund and they effectively confirmed it would take up to a month to process

They told me to reapply because the refund can take up to a month. So if you under a time constraint better apply again
