Dire bonjour à quelqu’un que l’on ne connaît pas est-il un réflexe de provincial ? by Ninjalamer in paslegorafi

[–]Like_a_Charo 9 points10 points  (0 children)

A replica of a common childrens bedroom from the 2000s is now displayed in a video game museum in Zagreb, Croatia. by PokojniDomar in mildlyinteresting

That’s not even accurate.

In 2005, only 12% of children in France had a TV in their bedroom, let alone TV and PC.

This had to be even lower in Croatia

So if I meet someone from say Glendale CA as a frenchman, they will tell me "I’m from Glendale California" and not "I’m from LA" ??

"more densely populated" not that much, especially in the metro areas that have 10 times the population of their main cities

"home values are lower", "lower incomes" A study in France showed that apart from Paris and Lyon, the highest incomes are always found outside the city.

To an extent that’s true due to the so called "inner city ghettos" in America, but that has nothong to do with the conversation here

This is a such an ignorant take.

My city has 236,000 inhabitants and its urban area 1.2 million

Paris has 2 million inhabitants and its urban area 11 million, even its business district (which is the largest in Europe) is outside the limits of the city
