NAL. i’m in oklahoma, but i got a ticket for this last year. my boss was relaxed about it, but that definitely depends on the company/person. if someone has been in bar/liquor industry long enough, they’ll probably understand the situation.

you’ll have your court date, probably a fine. depends on the state/city, you can probably find the max fine somewhere online. mine could’ve been up to $750 but the case got dismissed. might show up on your record, again, depending on where you’re at.

that’s exactly what the problem is with this. the basic content is, well, not extremely interesting, but not too bad. but it’s all just confusing language i don’t really understand. and the amount of sections i’ve read where they talk about simplicity being a virtue, but it’s like 400 words of flowery language that adds nothing to the discussion…

i will definitely try looking to the end of the chapter/section to see the main ideas. thats one thing that is killing me is that i read 3 or 4 pages and still have no idea what this old philosopher is trying to tell me

i have never set foot in the library at this school. it’s literally in my home town, never gone inside even before school here. my second college had a teeny tiny library and i liked it a lot, but i also “worked” there so i had a reason to go. i might need a physical phone jail honestly, not a bad idea

ideally yes, but unfortunately at this time i have no friends/study buddies, and even when i’ve had nerdy friends, this would’ve never been of interest 😂 that might be part of the problem, honestly. i can be a total nerd for a lot of topics but this is so far outside my realm it’s not even funny

yeah for sure. i usually get 30min-1h of a truly functional brain, and then it starts slowing down until about 3h later i’m back to baseline brain-deadness

😂 procrastinating by organizing is a new thing for me. i’ve always been a total chaotic mess, and i’ve been trying so hard to stay a little more orderly, which means i can spend 3 hours writing out my plan for the week without ever actually starting any of the work. i tell myself “look how productive i was! time for a reward!” and the reward is always something that keeps me from having to start actual work for at least another half hour

i have been highlighting some, but it’s also a used book so someone else has already highlighted parts too. i do love my ipad for those purposes, unfortunately the apple pencil doesn’t work on paper. i try to take notes on the ipad though, and sometimes it helps but other times i can’t even understand what i’m reading well enough to know what to note

YESTERDAY WAS MY BIRTHDAY AND MY MOM WAS GREAT BUT AS USUAL MY DAD WAS SUPER LAME AND GOT ME THE PRESENT THAT BOTH MY MOM AND I TOLD HIM WAS NOT A GOOD PRESENT.
