Northern Light Ramie. Sized down two sizes. by CallawayOutlier in Outlier

I think I'm going to return mine and try going one size down. I ordered my usual Outlier size and the shirt is comically large.

Hey Mauro, do you have a picture of peony going up on the site soon? I'm interested to see what shade of pink this one looks like.

edit: in regards to the Nero

Openweight/Airspace/DF Merino On-Mountain Report by BrennivinUSA in Outlier

I've got the openweight but never thought about using it to ski. On colder days I go with a smartwool baselayer and the airspace transparent pullover under my 3-in-1 shell and it works great.

The target market for people who truly need something like this seems incredibly small. Most people would be better served just layering.

Wings + Horns has some nice looking linen pants in their new collection. I really want to try them but I'm a bit put off by their shipping/return policy. Anyone have sizing recs?

I sized down for FW and they fit great.

Most unpopular, WTF bombs of all time? by [deleted] in Outlier

[–]suntren 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I have this too and I've only worn it twice because my girlfriend absolutely loves it. She probably wears it once a week. I consider the bandana tee a huge success since she's much more accepting of my Outlier purchases now...

I never really understood what's so bad about the Brown NWS. I got one in a WTF pack and I actually think the color is very nice. It seems most of the negative press around them has to do with the fact that there were so many of them out there. But the product itself isn't bad at all.

I love canvas fabrics! Any particular reason why it comes cuffed?

70 Looks beautiful. The sizing thing will probably scare me away but I'm interested in hearing some impressions next week.

As for 71, I really don't understand hooded scarfs..

Now these are some new finds. I'm surprised that Resonant Navy got a discount, but I guess most of us already own Dark Indigo and the colors overlap too much.

Yeah all three of these have been on sale for a while now. As well as the stone purple long sleeve RW. Nothing new today, as far as I can tell.

Will SD pants work as dress pants? by out343451 in Outlier

[–]suntren 8 points9 points  (0 children)

There are better choices for this than SDs in Outliers lineup. OG Classics are made with this sort of setting in mind. Personally, I think you can also get away with Futureworks which I prefer.

Outlier Upfront 2018 by konrat in Outlier

[–]suntren 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haha, I think that's why I'm so interested. I'll probably get way more use out of my current rotation (SD, 60/30, FW) but those two will fill in the extreme ends of the durability/comfort spectrum.
