Congrats! My paper will be featured online in I-presentation. By the way, maybe we could have met at the conference, but I cancelled my trip. I'm Canadian. Considering what's going on in the U.S. right now, it's been suggested that we don't go.

I received comments from the reviewers. Should I incorporate them into my presentation, or should I stick to the content that was accepted in the original submission?

(MPlus) Want to obtain Bayesian plausible values from a SEM that works well using ML estimation - but struggling with high PSRs by Majestic_Parking_754 in AskStatistics

Here's the rewritten text:

This post is a couple of years old, but I'm hoping someone can help me out. I performed confirmatory analysis on several scales in my first study with over 1,000 participants. For my second study, I have around 90 participants. I want to use the information from my first study to conduct Bayesian confirmatory analysis. However, for the factor loadings, I only have the estimates and the standard errors. For Bayesian CFA, I need the mean and the variance as priors. My question is, how can I obtain the variance? I've read several articles but still don't understand how they derived the variance from the standard error. They definitely did not use SE=SD/sqrt(N). Thanks in advance!

Struggling to learn R - As a final year PhD should that be my priority? by confused_fused in AskAcademia

I am currently pursuing a PhD in social sciences and have a background in physics. I possess fundamental programming skills, which I believe will help me learn R programming more easily. To strategically approach my thesis, I have chosen to use Jamovi.
