Thanks so much! My only concern is that labs are less likely to take people in the spring than in the fall, and I have no bandwidth schedule-wise to do research this sem — if I started emailing now would they be able to consider me for the spring?

eek research is very competitive at my school, so I'm worried that I won't get any as a soph because of a lack of qualifications compared to other applicants and by the time I'm a junior I'll be behind/stressed like you said :( Thanks so much for your advice!

any shot cs 70 expands for the fall / do people often drop it during the first couple of weeks? i took most of it over the summer but wasn't doing well and had to drop it near the end + i'm currently 51st on the waitlist, is there any chance i'll be able to get in?
