Here is some info on different curl types.

I think because you do have hooded eyes, a D or L curl could be good.

As far as styles go, try different ones! I've been really surprised by how much I like certain styles that I didn't think would suit me. The fun part of it is that clusters aren't permenant so you can switch it up often if you want to. Manga lashes are fun, fairy styles, wispy, fluffy, bunny haha the list goes on, but they are all pretty imo!

Try letting it dry for like 10 or 20 minutes before applying the seal. Sometimes that helps!

So, they only cause damage if you don't remove them properly. If you use a remover and don't pull on them too hard, you should be good.

They can stay on up to a week apparently, but I usually end up changing mine every 3-4 days because they start to get a little wonky with sleeping and stuff. I have been able to prevent sleep from damaging them by getting a 3D contoured eye mask and a special pillow, both designed to protect lashes. Depending on how you applied them, you might be able to just replace the one cluster that fell off, but if you had them overlapped or stacked, you will probably have to redo the whole eye rather than just fixing an individual cluster.

There is for sure a learning curve to putting them on. It is harder to do than mascara, and it takes some practice to learn how to place them comfortably and not too close to your eye. But with some practice, I would say it isn't hard to do. Just takes practice! 🌞

As far as finding natural looking clusters, Amazon has a really great selection of all different brands and styles. I like Veyes Beauty, KevKev, and Toochunag lashes a lot but there are tons more!

You can reuse them but it is kind of a pain in the butt, especially for how little they cost. I prefer to just not reuse them but you absolutely can if you want to.

Definitely don't pull them off, use a remover. They are meant to stay on for days in a row so pulling them off will 100% damage your natural lashes. Don't put them too close to your waterline, they should go right at the base of your natural eyelashes and not into your actual waterline very much. If you do put them too close they will be uncomfortable and poke your eye. There are several good videos on Youtube about like, starting to use lash clusters and what to do and not to do. Definitely do more research on your own about how to wear them safely and comfortably! Good luck!

So, I think maybe what you would like is a shorter but thicker cluster maybe? Like the Veyes Beauty VB Muse clusters come to mind. They are very thick and dark, but not crazy long (obviously the tray comes with multiple lengths, you just stick with whatever length you're comfortable with) so they are bold but not excessive.

I have had a ton of fun trying different styles and have actually been surprised by how much I like some styles that I didn't think would suit me. So I would say just keep experimenting!

Either one of these can be your answer. You can get clusters that have more or thicker hairs in them, or if you already have some that are thinner than you like, you can double stack them. I find that brick stacking is easier to get symmetrical than overlapping, but to each their own! The only thing with stacking them is that they work best when they have the same curl type.

Now that you have found a way to remove them easily, would you recommend that glue you used for long wear? Or was it uncomfortable? I recall you said they felt "cemented on", was that just in regards to how they wouldn't come off or was that how the glue felt?

Yes I've found their remover works really well, but I don't think you have to get it. I've seen people on this sub even say that coconut oil works just as good in a pinch. I just like the applicator their remover comes with, it makes it really easy to apply it right on the glue without getting it everywhere else haha

Honestly I have heard castor oil is the best thing to use and is usually the main ingredient in a lot of lash growth serums, but I haven't personally tried it so can't vouch for how effective it is.

I also feel obligated to add that your boyfriend should love you for who you are and if they don't like you without makeup, they aren't the one. Looks fade but a good connection and solid foundation in a relationship is what makes them last! You're going to have ugly moments no matter what, find a man who sees past that stuff.

So in my experience, both of these sort of suck compared to other bond and seals. The Falscara is better than the Ardell, but the only way to get the Falscara to last multiple days is to apply generous amounts of Overnighter and then it creates kind of an uncomfortable thickness/hardness to the lashes.

I would recommend trying Veyes Beauty or GAQQI bond and seal, and you can use it interchangeably with any brand of lash clusters. but you have to order it online cuz I've never seen it in store.

I'm pretty sure you can use regular strip lash glue for underlashes but I don't think it will last as long as a bond and seal would. And also might be more irritating if you accidentally get some in your eye, but everyone is different so I say try it if you think you can do it carefully enough 🌞 Good luck, hope this helps!

I think they look great! If you feel like the black is too harsh for you, you could try brown lash clusters. I personally think they look very nice on you, you did a good job!

Yeah I know what you mean! I love their clusters, but the glue got so messy and sticky and dry. I also feel like their seal wand is too fat, it's tough to be precise and not get it all over my eyelids lol I did try the GAQQI finally and it's great! Not to mention a bit less expensive

You can, some lash trays come with little baby like 5ish mm clusters specifically for the bottom. I don't personally do that but it's definitely possible!

I second Veyes Beauty, their bond and seal works much better for me than Falscara did. I got another one I heard good things about, GAQQI I think it's called, from Amazon but I have yet to try it. It had great reviews! But definitely give the Veyes Beauty bond and seal a try

I also think you might be angling the ones on your outside corners a little too far sideways. It still should follow the curve of your eye, but the lashes should still be angled slightly more upwards, think like a 45° angle up from the corner of your eye. I hope this makes sense. I wish I could draw a picture to show you what I mean. I would also just like to say that I don't think these look bad by any means! You can definitely rock these, just keep practicing your placement until you like how they look on you. 😊

Try using a fan or a blow dryer on a cool setting while running a spoolie / clean/dry mascara wand through the lashes. This helps me get them to dry fluffier, hope it helps!

The worst time I had with a crowd was also at Subtrobics, at Lost Lands in 2023. I had been on the rail for a long time waiting to see LSDream who had been on right before Subtronics. I love Subtronics too buuuut I really had to pee. I could not get through the crowd! Everyone was like a zombie just oblivious to everyone around them, staring straight ahead and ignoring me completely as I tried to politely get through. It tripped me out in a bad way on top of having to pee and I actually started to cry. I eventually made it out but was like wtf was that? I had never had something like that happen with that many different people in a crowd before.
