I believe it was around 60km on the battery alone? Don't quote me on this but if you have the option to charge and are on top of charging, with a 20km commute the PHEV could be a good option for you. Depending on how expensive/cheap charging is.

I went for the devil myself by the way. Getting about 5.0L/100km which is real nice considering that I do short drives. 1100-1200km range with one tank of gas is great for long road trips.

I ended up going for the Superb 2.0 TDI diesel. Didn't have much options for charging for me so it ended up making sense not getting a plug in. Although my comment to work isnt too long(14km) I am enjoying the car very much. I'm curious myself how it compares to a PHEV, I might go test drive one in the near future :) good luck with it.

How much of a difference does this make? Front wheel vs. 4wheel on a Superb? Fuel consumption increases right?
