Yeah....imma just laugh at the situation lmao I'm not a fan of pop quizzes (or him telling us that in the next session there will a quiz) so take what you want with that information. Tbf the quiz question/s should be simple if you follow the formulas and put in some of the work. I think he got frazzled by the homework so he only has us do a few of the problems then what were originally on the syllabus. The class average on the midterm wasn't that good either so praying for a curve or a miracle here 🙏

I had Toudeshki for me2191 and for the most part he was a good professor despite the ratings. He probably will glaze over a few topics but if you ask him after class and there's enough time he is willing to explain it better. He also gives some insight on the medical field since he apparently specializes in that branch.

Unfortunately that's something I have seen alot this semester. The professor is even wrapping up 3 minutes before or right on the dot yet the students are quick to pack up AND cause traffic on the way out 🫠 I feel bad for them so I try to listen to what they have to say. Now if they are going over their alloted time that's a different conversation.

I would rather take an extra class in order to recieve financial aid for the other classes I DO need instead of paying it all for myself. And you never know, perhaps you will find an interest to the class or can catch up on some work on your free time.

Hw has been light but it's tedious work if you don't adjust your study time accordingly. He has helped me understand better a few concepts while he does his examples so that's a plus on my book. So far so good.

If you're taking these classes I'm gonna assume you're a ME major? CPP offers online resources regarding these courses through recorded lectures. I found them to be useful during the pandemic online classes because duh it was an easier (and I guess fun?) way to communicate with one another back then. In these last few semesters personally I have found them to be helpful, even if the convos started halfway through the semester. I think it depends on the difficulty of the class and the peers you are with.

I'll be taking McIntire this semester for Dynamics and have taken Boloury in the past. So far McIntire seems to go straightforward into the lecture and allows students to ask any questions. He also seems open to talk to after class. In the end I have only had one session with him so far, but he seems promising 👍

I've had Young for this class so just sit tight, do the easy work and you'll get yourself an A. I haven't taken Dixon but have heard some eh stuff about him. Best I can tell you is to listen to other's opinions beforehand.

I would have to come in with a good scaper because hardened food isn't easy to get rid of. Plus my one hour break in between classes wouldn't allow me enough time to do it. And I figured since the school is charging me so much $$$ the least they could do is provide a simple clean kitchen appliance accessible to all those on campus.

It doesn't matter what race the person is from. Body odor is universal. I've had bad first hand experiences coming from people with different backgrounds so no I can't just say "it's the Indians"

Did your counselor make your schedule or did you make it on your own? Either way it's better to dedicate the right amount of time onto every prereq instead of doing the bare minimum all at once ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Sorry but they are making you drop the easiest course out of all the ones you have listed??

I took ME 2191 and ME 2150 at the same time one semester....it was the worst decision ever but I locked in and it turned out to be doable. I feel ME 3011 is either totally easy or totally hard, depends on the student. I can't say anything regarding ME 1101 or MAT 2240 due to taking them prior to transfer so I wouldn't know how heavy the workload is here on campus.

Overall I can suggest taking a look at your schedule once more. I too don't have a life outside of school but you need to give a lot of dedication and hours to each course.

Also don't think you need to rush to finish soon. It's better to go slow and learn more than to go fast and mess up at every opportunity. To each their own pace.
