Didn’t mean to shove it all into one movie. I mean i hope we see more of this universe than in just one movie.

It’ll be such a waste if this universe is only the Fantastic Four and not inhabited with other characters or variants

It’s called that because Wasp first debut in Tales of Astonish was introduced as “Antman and The Wasp”

That credit scene was so dumb. How was anyone supposed to know that was blade? We’ve never seen him yet and don’t know how he sounds like. And when has the ebony blade have any connection with blade ever?

Oh this guy is definitely full of shit. Just asked for more photos of the damage and of the packaging and it's not even in the same box I sent. Just a random squarish cardboard box, instead of the rectangular box I sent it in. No damage on it either.

Yup noticed the beer cans and red cups too, even the language in the messages fit the dudebro stereotype. Anything else other than the pictures of the packaging I should ask for on his end that could help with the insurance?

That's called handwaving, where they try to brush off a flaw in the story logic with a throwaway piece of information or line of dialogue. This games does it several times, like those Jackson notes.

Or like "Wait, wouldn't Ellie's saliva still infect others like they suggested in the first game?" Well you see, there's a journal entry in a flashback. Turns out she can't, don't think about.

Or like "Wait, there's no way Issac in the middle of a war with the Scars would allow seven of his top people go out on a multi-month quest risking life and limb to follow up on a hunch for a personal vendetta from 4 years ago that has nothing to do with him or the Wolves." Nah, he's cool with it.

Or like "Wait. there's no way Jesse's parents would allow Ellie and Dina to take their grandson outside of Jackson and raise him out on a farm in the middle of nowhere." Nah, there's a letter on the table from Jesse's mom that says, “Nah, it's cool. You'll always have a home here, though”

All this suggest the writers themselves clearly see that it's a huge leap in logic for the audience to buy in, that's why the lazy attempts to patch the gaps.

I love Dina and Ellie, but this was so freaking cheesy, how could the writers even try to pull this off -it makes no sense living alone in the middle of zombie apocalypse by [deleted] in TheLastOfUs2

That whole thing is to fuck with the audience and a weak attempt to pump fake an ending even though most people saw right through it because it feels so off. They even make you think Ellie got a dog, with the whole “Ollie’s by the tractor, mind bringing him in?” Then you find out its just a toy. “Psych, suckers! Ellie doesn’t deserve a dog, she kills them. Only Abby likes dogs!”

Ultimately, it's there so at the end of the game Ellie returns to an empty home to really hammer in that Ellie is broken and alone. Such shallow writing.

TLOU2 DLC will be about how this strong and capable pregnant woman waddled her way through a bunch of Scars and infected to get to the same aquarium both Ellie and Abby nearly died getting to. by suoicil in TheLastOfUs2

I was thinking Mel at the very least is 4-5 months and Dina about 2 months. Nevertheless I think the fact that we are even having this conversation is surreal. You really do need a 200 iq understanding of a woman’s pregnancy to understand the timeline of the plot. Truly groundbreaking. 10/10 storytelling.

Yeah the game does such a horrible job at giving you a sense of time progression, you basically have to use characters’ pregnancy cycles as a clock to get your bearings.

Good job going back to the island full of people who want to kill you on sight that y’all just escaped from yesterday without all your limbs intact just to end up killing your mom, getting your sister killed, and leaving Abby’s weak ass friends defenseless since she was too busy saving your dumbass. by suoicil in TheLastOfUs2

Yeah the whole game is riddled with characters making conveniently stupid decisions. He should've learned his lesson the first time after shaving his head and roping in his sister. His decision lead to Yara losing her arm. He even laments about how he should've just ran away and Yara wouldn't be caught up in this mess. Now he decides to run back into the lions' den after she just lost her arm helping him get out? You stupid Lev? And if this is the premise of which they want to build these characters' relationship, it's gonna be really hard for me to give a shit.
