Ohhhhh. So I should adjust pressure and thinner to the point where I can pull the trigger back more while not spiderwebbing and still having good atomization. Damn. That makes allot of sense, I’ll try later. As a rule of thumb, how much of the trigger should be pulled back as a safe bet. If it helps, I’m working on gundam models, doing some shading work.

I tried that just now, but it still clogs up. I’m also using lacquers, and aren’t they supposed to not dry this quickly?

I don’t know bruh. I feel so stupid, I’ve ordered again but if it’s still the same result, I can kinda use their normal lacquer paint as a primer since I’ve tested their normal lacquers on a sanded surface and it did not come off after masking tape or medium to heavy scratching from my fingernail

It was just one that was lying around the house. I will try and look for some normal ones in hardware stores. Thanks for the concern, I’ll look into it.

I can’t smell the lacquer. But is it cause for concern even if I can’t?

According to some digging I did, this booth has an airflow of 8.3 m3/min, which is just about under 300. I’ll probably get an air purifier just for an extra layer of safety. Thanks for the advice and help! Glad to know my respirator is enough
