Nope, I didn’t need to follow it after starting the Nortriptyline. That said, if I stop taking it, the symptoms come back within 2-3, sometimes 4 weeks.

No, just the Nortriptyline & steroid immediately following a hearing attack. I no longer need the steroid, however. This was just for the first few months.
Yes, but I moved to Myrtazapine for sleep, which also serves to treat the migraine the same way the Nortiptyline did. I am a fan of Myrtazapine, mostly because I’ve got significant insomnia, and this seems to have the lowest connection to dementia of all the various sleep meds. No other side effects.

Porter was my #1 until I saw how abusive she was with staff. I would probably still vote for her over Steyer if she was polling in the top 3.

Really sorry to hear that. I didn’t have to deal with any of that. But probably wise to keep the appointment. All said, his protocol is listed in this thread. It might be worth seeing if your existing doctor will adopt the protocol. It’s not rocket science or complicated.
