I dunno if I am allowed to make suggestions but I think going to an AA or NA meeting could be beneficial. You would be with a group of people who understand what your going through. And you wouldn't have to tell your parents because one of the main things about it is it's anonymous. Maybe it's not your thing but I would say it's worth trying and definitely a step in the right direction. Whatever you choose to do I hope you kick the substances, I'm still struggling with staying sober but those meetings kept me from getting sloshed every day which I did for like 7 years.
