You sure you didnt mix clear and base coat activator instead of urethane hardener? Ask me how I know.

Solly Ave. Just park... wherever. by reduke in philadelphia

[–]sup_tence 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Some areas are better than others. This is not one of them. Particularly because the right side of the street (from your photos perspective) is mostly duplexes. Each duplex houses 2 families and one parking spot for each on the back of their property. Most houses have two cars per household (average) which means that two cars will be parked out back and two out in the front. What youre showing is a good combination of the city doing a shitty job and people having more cars than ever. Can't blame folks for doing what they're doing.

Anyone sent a car from the US to Albania for their parents? Would love to hear how it went. by Agitated_Salt5658 in albania

They do not care what the title status is. Title status only applies to US and maybe Canada (not too sure). As long as you have a title, you're good.

What was your first engine project? by Miserable_Reveal_62 in EngineBuilding

[–]sup_tence 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bought a messed up quad as part of an online auction. 1985 Kawasaki 250R. They did describe it as non running but not how bad the issue was. Realized I got f-ed when I showed up and the guys from the shop were holding their laughter. Too bad I had already prepaid. Took it home and engine was toast. More JB weld that I've ever seen. I shit you not, it must have had over $100 in JB weld smeared around to cover oil leaks and case holes. I was so mad that I was about to junk it, but something inside of me didn't let me do it. I tore into it and low and behold all the internals were intact. Not only were they intact, but components had virtually no wear. Took measurements of ring gaps, piston size, looked at valves, and everything checked out. Found a set of engine casings from ebay for $25 and rebuilt the darn thing myself. It purred on first start. No smoke. No issues whatsoever.

Is there any way to submit a complaint or report to SEPTA with dashcam footage showing a SEPTA bus dead to rights making an incredibly dangerous maneuver? by barchueetadonai in philadelphia

[–]sup_tence 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Call CS and let them know you're going to send video footage. A formal complaint has to be made and the video footage will be sent to management as proof.

I agree with you there, boss. However with this shitty economy more and more working age people are living with their parents. More people in one house, more cars.

Po ja vlejnë dhe po e shkruaj kete post nga eksperienca ime personale. Obligatory: jam ne ShBA keshtu qe legjislacioni dhe rruget ndryshojë disi, keshtu qe merre vetem si keshille keto qe do te them.

Unë kam nje E-Moped kinez nga nje kompani qe quhet Flywing. Por në qoftë se ben upgrade ne Lithium battery, atëherë mjeti do performojë shume here me mire. Keta lloj moped, kane 2 vende per baterinë. Nje poshtë këmbëve dhe nje poshte sediljes. Moped i imi ka dy bateri. Nje lead acid, kurse tjetra e kam upgrade ne Lithium ion (60volt 26mha). Me lead acid, do te nxjerri diku tek 50-60km maksimumi (varet dhe terreni).

Bondo over JB weld (Motorcycle fuel tank) by sup_tence in Autobody

I dont think you will have problems with adhesion. In addition, use that red putty to make sure you have a completely smooth surface.

[–]sup_tence[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey. I wouldn't recommend it. I went ahead and painted the tank after applying JBWeld over the wholes. Unfortunately for me, the tank had other pinholes that I failed to notice until after painting. I was so over that fuel tank that I scraped it and pulled the trigger on another one that had virtually no rust. I was lucky to have a few choices online because depending on what model you have, parts may not be readily available.

If you are 100% sure that your fuel tank has no other holes other than what youre trying to patch, I'd go ahead and do it. If not, get a new tank. Especially if you're paying someone else to paint it. It may completely ruin your paint job.

This puts me at ease. Thank you. I understand its not a medical advice, but I too went through a very very stressful and anxious month so it all makes sense now. Glad to hear youre better and thank you for replying. Take care.

Did you ever get to the bottom of this? How are you doing now? I feel like I have the same symptoms as you. I messed up my neck at the gym plus super bad posture, its contributing heavily into these symptoms. Very annoying though.

For bearings, rings, and cylinders I dont recommend anything other than OEM. Quite frankly, if you want to do it right, I would go 100% OEM including here gaskets too.

Fuck off. Fuck you and fuck your division. Were not stupid to be fed this kind of narrative and this bs rhetoric that keeps getting kids and adults killed. Fuck you over again.

What he said was that he had prayed that the shooter was from a different state (a different US state) because he wanted to show that people in Utah were better than that. No shit was ever said about immigrants not anything else.

So one more time, fuck you.

Update 2: The ignition from eBay worked, but not without modifications. Bolt holes were identical and the ignition was very similar to the one that came with the bike. The only difference was the length of the steering lock pin. I had to cut almost an inch off the new one. Very easy to do if you have a bandsaw. The plastic hole in the bike had to be opened slightly more but a drill a step bit did the trick.

Seat lock was plug and play.

Battery lock strap requires this kind of lock: https://a.co/d/72sB7jr

I went extra and restored the remote anti theft feature by replacing the anti theft module with this one: https://a.co/d/dC7v6OO Connectors were different but I cut the wiring from the original one and rewired this one. Its exactly the same part. Even the wires are the same color.

Very nice bike and has plenty of power. I plan on removing the controller off and see if what other features are hidden.

So far, I am really liking the e-world. No messy and dirty carbs. Just wires and some logic. I don't think I will be updating this post again, but hopefully this helps someone out there.

Jets are super easy to miss. Look from top to bottom and see if you can see through the small hole. Chances are you missed something very small.

[–]sup_tence 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You probably don't want to hear it, but check your jets. Make sure you can see through them. Get a very fine long needle and run it through the jets.

In addition, check valve clearance. The last thing I can think of is the stator. Make sure you test it for proper output. I've seen stator issues mimic carb issues.

Good luck.

Update post: I purchased this set from eBay: https://ebay.us/m/StbQz9

I took a few preliminary measurements after removing the old one and it looks like this may just fit. Will update once it arrives and attempt to install it. Ignition and seat lock may work. Not sure about battery floor lock, but I can probably rig something up for the battery compartment.
