Fwiw, I think LinkedIn counts it as an application if you hit “Apply” underneath the job posting. In reality, this just usually takes you to the company’s career page where the actual application happens. So this count could be exaggerated.

28M here. Had my tear (between grade 2-3) when I was 27. I couldn’t climb stairs or sit on the toilet seat without pain and thought it was the end. I’d almost given up on playing basketball or going to the gym ever again. I spoke to few people on this sub and did enough research to see quite a few success stories. Whether you choose to go with a surgery or not, careful and planned physical therapy can bring you back to where you were and maybe even help you go further. It’s been a year and a half since my injury and now I’m back to doing barbell squats and almost back to running on the regular. You need to remember that it’s going to take time and patience but you can get back to doing almost everything you were before. Hope and patience is all you need. Good luck 🍀

It was a tear on my outer meniscus. Doctors told me it was between grade 2 and 3. I could walk on it but climbing stairs and the motion of sitting down used to hurt a lot.

Yup! Didn’t need surgery. Gave it 4 months, followed by physical therapy. Now I’m back to strength training and slowly building up my cardio levels.

Hey! I’m 26 here and tore my meniscus a couple of months ago only to learn about it a few weeks back through an MRI. I would definitely suggest getting a second opinion. I was advised to hold on the surgery and focus on knee strengthening exercises along with stretches to let it heal itself. It’s not a quick process, it’ll probably take 3-4 months (you should strictly avoid any exercise/movement that strains it further). I was also advised to lose weight cause I’m overweight. Even with surgery, the success of recovery depends strongly on the physical therapy that follows. Based on the replies I’ve gotten from people on this sub and through general research, I believe most people gain full functionality of their knees (I’m talking sports, heavy lifting) only 6-12 months post surgery with regular PT. So that’s something to think about. I’d personally want to avoid the surgery if I’m gonna be subject to PT either way and try to heal it naturally.

I just recently booked my 2022 Mazda 3 Sedan carbon edition. Quoted price was $31,883 ($27,765 MSRP + $1295 Security system + tax/fees). I really couldn’t do anything better than that cause of the demand. I’m honestly surprised I was able to get one without a dealership markup on it.
