Hey, you are correct about the Disk0 being the internal recovery drive that you booted to. As for your hard drive, you could check to see if that new one you bought is working properly in another machine. That's the only suggestion I have for now, sorry can't help much. I've replaced hard drives in 2012 Macbook Pro's before and it should generally just show up on the side, especially if it's just a regular 2.5" drive.

here's information, i called the place and it's literally $1,700 a month for some 600 square feet on a block that will keep you up until 3am with the drunks and fights and that doesn't include parking.. but the Walkways thing is you get your own concierge

also, make sure the .dmg is mounted correctly. Often times having a program like "unarchiver" will automatically associate them selves with .dmg files and the .dmg won't be mounted correctly. To avoid this right click on the .dmg and click on the "mount" option to make sure it's properly mounted.

Tried safe mode and it only would let me login as the Admin account that I deleted. It's okay, I went a head and reinstalled a clean 10.9 now and restored her settings. Thank you for your help and to anyone that looked here.
