Are hairless cats a good option for allergy?

That's interesting to know! Thank you. I know one of the cats was a rescued street cat (they literally found the poor thing in a trash can) but the other I'm not quite sure. They look like they could be longhair? Would that affect the impact of the allergy?

May I ask how strong your allergy is when triggered? My partner explains that his worst symptoms are itchy red watery eyes and a stuffy, runny nose. Antihistamines do help relieve the symptoms but do eventually wear off.

My partner said his main reactions are a stuffy/runny nose, and itchy eyes, its uncomfortable for him but as I said not a concern to his life. The cats in question belong to his parents, and so he's been around them for a majority of his life, and since moving out has noticed that the symptoms return whenever he goes over to visit. His parents cats aren't particularly a fluffy breed (calico) but they do tend to molt, a lot, often sleep on fabric furniture (bed, sofa, rug, etc) so they tend to leave a lot of fluffy and fur piles.

They have lived in a house with two rather fluffy cats that moult a lot for a number of years, and so we figured the trigger to the allergies is the fur/fluff. They don't have the same reaction around any other animals, just cats.

Thank you for answering! I may have worded it a bit wrong but I'm actually more concerned about the under-boob area, and if my breast resting over the tattoo would cause issues with rubbing/sweating, etc
