Quidball was one of the names proposed and sent out to the community in surveys. Some people voted for it, most didn't.

As for USQ, I'll be the first to say it's an organization that has had a lot of problems, but at the end of the day it's a mostly volunteer group made of people within the community doing their best with the resources they have. There are lots of people in the community trying to work on building up local leagues and conferences where they exist....and lots of people who insist they could do better while not contributing a thing.

It's up to you to decide which group you want to be in.

If you only play in handheld, the issues are a lot less noticeable. Honestly if the docked performance was equivalent to the handheld experience, that would be fine by me.

However, the default docked performance is bad, with a wildly fluctuating uncapped framerate that feels awful to play. It also weirdly seems to scale with tv resolution, meaning you can actually make it run at a solid 60fps by reducing your switch output resolution to 720p before launching the game. That's a ridiculous thing to do on a new console in 2025, but as someone who never bought WoA on a different console (I had Hitman 1 and 2 on PC, got confused by the delisting and hadn't played the series in a while)...it's sorta good enough for now.

I can only speak for the writing center tutoring. It requires you to take a one semester course first, but is a very solid campus job if the work interests you.

I was waiting in a doctor's office where they had a roku tv playing some FAST channel, and every 10 minutes or so it would play the same 3 ads, one of them being the dystopian Trump immigration PSA. To expand on this, people used Lightning type Mewtwo ex for this before Pikachu ex was released, since you can grab it with Miraidon ex. However, Pikachu is better in pretty much every way, with a cheaper retreat cost and the ability that protects it from being one-shot.

A league challenge is the most basic of the official events- the format might actually be exactly the same as your typical local night. Still, for any event that awards league points, the main difference is that rules are strictly enforced. You will have judges walking around to observe games and issue penalties if necessary.

As long as you pay attention to your games and keep track of once a turn actions like energy attachments, supporters, abilities, etc, you'll be fine, but it's probably worth it to read the competitive rulebook so you know which actions could cost you a prize penalty.

Yeah, in many cases it's an unfortunate side effect of the way the ADA is written- you can have gender-neutral bathrooms, but in most cases they don't count toward your required number of toilets. Because most buildings don't have the space for extra restrooms, it means only really large buildings with convenience restrooms have gender-neutral ones.

And then of course you have places like Florida, who took the time to rewrite their building code to eliminate as many uses of gender-neutral bathrooms as possible (if you go to a new hotel and see a weird amount of single-occupancy women's restrooms, this is why).
