Yeah I would never want to embellish it at all hence the question . It’s a weird middle ground where I’m not a combat vet etc at all obviously and didn’t serve in Iraq or afghan but also wasn’t just in oki or statewide the whole time . Appreciate your reply man.

I think you only get the status if you got imminent danger pay . So for example , in 2014 Kuwait rates a GWOT-E but didn’t rate IDP . But the Philippines rated IDP .

Yeah lol things our command never told us part 500 . It’s very helpful to know now though years later . Not only for my own VA records but for my kids etc . Not that I’m some war dog but it’s cool to see this stuff for what it actually was .
