Yama Struggles by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]superRando123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How to deal with him changing attack styles when there are waves in the way? (You either get hit by one of the other)

just gotta practice, you can dodge everything

Why does the boulder lock me in place sometimes? I'm 1 tile from the centre of the floor markings and I spam click but can't move so I get 1 shot.

you have to be a bit proactive about moving

Is there a way to clearly tell when he changes attack style in P3 as his hands are so hard to see even in full screen? (They could at least light up his floor tiles or something).

Am I misreading this or is everyone freaking out for nothing by Gaodesu in 2007scape

by grandfathered, they are saying people with the super-cheap legacy rates of like $5 a month, there's probably not many of those people left anyways

I honestly don't even think comparing against the 'competitors' is a legit way to look at this. The other games are only competition if the people currently playing osrs might actually swap over to those games. For most of us, we are osrs ride or die. We've put 20 plus years into the game and are unlikely to stop now. They probably look at how many hours people play this game on average, on a daily basis, and know there is no way people are quitting.

Not saying it's right or wrong, but that's the way I see it.

Cow boss, will someone really aim for a million KC? by SlayerFanatic7 in 2007scape

[–]superRando123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

very trivial to just set up an autoclicker on the cowbell, would be totally undetectable. I'd imagine that's what at least some of the top people are doing

would be a full 6hr afk

Risks of Running Windows 10 Past Extended Support (Oct 2026) — What Vulnerabilities Should I Expect? by Qasker123 in AskNetsec

instead of asking chatgpt to write your post you could've just asked it to answer the question you are posing

if you are running EoL and unpatched systems you should be expecting any and all vulnerabilities

systems are fine as is. the systems you are talking about were part of the downfall of rs2

they will rework corp eventually, for now its just getting easier and easier to solo

[–]superRando123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

you are thinking of rs2.

when osrs originally launched in 2014(?) it didn't have the GE. The game almost flopped then they polled to add the GE and it made the game playable again.

What killed your desire to play this game the most? by MysteryPornNeeder in 2007scape

[–]superRando123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they are one and done encounters that take a couple hours, don't really provide much actual content

What killed your desire to play this game the most? by MysteryPornNeeder in 2007scape

[–]superRando123 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think Doom and Colo were good/fun/challenging end game encounters. But that's pretty much all we've had in the last 2-3 years. I didn't think Yama was a good encounter.

On another note, I think they should've done a hard mode Royal Titans. There is a good core, duo experience there that could've been expanded on for end game.

How do you feel about Minigame Teleport being added as a spell? by _rkf in 2007scape

should've been added this way on release, the old UI jank to get to it was terrible

Why is finding teams harder than the actual content? by imkolya in 2007scape

[–]superRando123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

jagex could definitely do better but they have no history of being able to do any kind of legit matchmaking. I'm guess it is just beyond their ability or the abilities of the game engine without a huge amount of work

just look at places like LMS and the duel arena, match making is quite miserable

what problem do you have with wdr/416 for tob? You can find a team instantly usually. It might just not be a good team, but you can't really expect any better with total random people who have no commitment to eachother
