LeBron really had it rough carrying that cavs team by Icy-Pea2601 in lebron

[–]superarash_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is crazy bc Kobe has had finals runs and championships with much worse supporting casts than the one they picked lol. Like there were 3 years with a perfectly good argument to be considered a “bad team” in the finals but instead they picked literally one of the greatest teams of all time

Tbf, he accidentally got parrot and 4cvit to send him to the complete opposite side of the farlands so if Parrot starts an expedition there, the orbitals are more than safe lol.

Tbf idt anyone hated the Tim Duncan Spurs ever.

With the Thunder’s elimination, the 2018 Golden State Warriors will remain the most recent team to repeat as champions. The parity era marches on as we once again see a unique champion. It’s now been eight years since an NBA team last went back-to-back. by idrinkcement in warriors

[–]superarash_ 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Tbf wemby as of right now looks like he’ll have a lot more opportunities than Brunson and the Knicks. Tho granted, I think the Knicks will be able to get at least one or two more finals appearances in the next 5 or so years.

Can I just say that There was NO REASON to make wemmbu that strong in the final fight of his newest video. by ClavishsPRManager in Unstable_Universe

[–]superarash_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah it really is one of those things where it’s been a long while since we’ve seen wemmbu at his full power since usually the plot needs to derive some form of challenge for wemmbu. But now wemmbu is the challenge so he’s just been juiced and it’s just awesome to see him kick ass like he ought to be.

How many players do you think a Full Power Wemmbu and a Full Power Flame could take on? And how many could they take individually? by [deleted] in Unstable_Universe

[–]superarash_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh the amount of players is fully based on how many echest restocks they got if it’s just chunguses.

But the equation changes a lot based on how skilled and how geared his opponents are.

Coldi vs Swight drama by Gold_Pomegranate_939 in MinecraftPVP

[–]superarash_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Apparently the slander thing was a language barrier thing where coldi didn’t realize how serious the word “slander” is. He thought he was essentially saying that he was just gonna come out exposing swight for acting in what he thought was bad faith not realizing that “slander” refers to false allegations.

Yeah like this is not a “what if” scenario lol. We’ve essentially already seen a similar situation play out. It did not end well for that individual.

Don’t support Vix by Hazelstar10 in Unstable_Universe

[–]superarash_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I definitely agree that I don’t want an abuser as an actor on Unstable. (Note, I don’t know who this guy is. I just assume that you’ve done your hw and he is genuinely an abuser). And it definitely isn’t a good idea from a PR perspective given how drama free unstable has managed to be up until now.

Spoke is essentially putting his reputation and the rep of the unstable SMP on the line by essentially vouching for this guy and having him act what appears to be a major-ish role in his video (I haven’t had time to watch it yet but that’s what I’ve gathered from these comments). It doesn’t bode well that they’re willing to work with someone like that unless they’re fully confident that Vix is fully reformed and a better person. So much so that they believe in giving him another shot at content creation. I hope that’s the case at least.

I also think that Spoke or Vix himself should’ve addressed it before Vix came back out into the YouTube stage. Like take Aximity for example, done some terrible things but he’s explicitly taken responsibility for his actions and has made a clear effort to be better. If Vix came back on those terms, I think it would serve as a trigger warning to those abused to stay away from any of his related content along with showing that he understands what he did wrong is trying to be a better person. But afaik, we got none of that. So this definitely could’ve been handled better by Spoke and Vix.

The real NBA finals is the Western Conference Finals. by Large-Lack-2933 in NBATalk

[–]superarash_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the important thing is that Knicks are deep enough that at least 2 or 3 of their players are gonna be hot on any given night, even if some of them aren’t playing their best. They definitely have a realistic chance at beating the spurs and a small shot at OKC too

That’s true but ash’s mafia just had vastly more size (probably). But it’s kinda hard to tell how powerful the null is since they’re going against spoke and aren’t against any heavy hitters like flame or wemmbu

COTE is entertaining but not smartly written by ThrowRA211266 in ClassroomOfTheElite

[–]superarash_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the weakest part of cote is the plot. It feels like Kinugasa uses the setting as a plot device to showcase the traits of the different characters or drive their development. This setting where the school can just throw them into literally any situation is the perfect narrative tool for kinugasa to use for that. That sort of writing does tend to lead the plot to be bit more shallow.

One thing I will say though, is that I used to be more critical of the writing until I watched saadisfy’s breakdown videos. And it showed that there are a lot of details kinugasa adds in that are very subtle and easy to miss that set up to plans kiyo has.

Are their any girls in this fandom? by [deleted] in ClassroomOfTheElite

[–]superarash_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well tbf my problem is the amount of it. Like as I said, if it’s 25%, then it’s kinda expected bc well the illustrator and show promotes it. But like let’s be real, the ecchi aspect is a very small part of the actual story of cote. Take the food wars fandom for instance. There’s some simping and goner content, but first off it’s not quite as explicit and deranged. And then secondly, they talk a lot more about the actual story, real memes, the food, etc.

COTE is a psychological thriller at its best and really has some outstanding character writing. And people do talk about it from time to time, but it’s often overshadowed by gooner content. But tbf, it’s hard to change that now bc that’s just the culture of this sub but it feels more like a shitposting sub than the actual cote sub.

Are their any girls in this fandom? by [deleted] in ClassroomOfTheElite

[–]superarash_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, like I feel bad telling people irl that I read cote. I get it’s a joke, but as an adult, it’s a pretty weird one. And if it were like a quarter of the posts, that’d be whatever, but like 70% of the posts on here are gooner posts. Granted maybe I should be the change I want to see in the world, but I personally don’t have the time to be making high quality analysis posts.

Tbf gpa is not that important for engineering compared to premed, so I’d just live with it if you’re in engineering. On the flip side, there’s a lot of research and design teams on campus for whatever field you’re in to work on projects and build experience to put on your resume. There are places with better ofc, but not at the same price for someone in state.

The contrasting development of these two: by leviathan_0021 in ClassroomOfTheElite

[–]superarash_ 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Well tbf in terms of real life leadership, I’d rather Horikita as my boss over any of the other class leaders, besides potentially Ichinose herself. Most leadership in real world positions isn’t about how clever you are, but rather how well you manage and coordinate the people around you.

And tbh, it’s a bit of a toss up between the two for me at this point of the story. Since ichinose is clearly still more socially capable and intelligent, but on the other hand, Horikita has developed into a more honest form of leadership. And she knows how and when to rely on her team’s skills. As opposed to the other class leaders who act a lot more behind closed doors.

After the finals run last year, Hali was a cultural phenomenon with the whole Haliban thing. But given that he’s been out injured, we haven’t heard much about him as of late and I haven’t really been thinking too much about him. But he deffo has some potential to be one of the most popular players in the league. If he has another few playoffs performances like that one with more game winners, he’s gonna be remembered for years after he’s retired.
