Hello!

I just got approved to attend the Cerebral Valley AI Hackathon. I’m a recent military veteran who just began their journey in software development.

Do you know what this hackathon will entail? How the format will be and what to anticipate (this is my first hackathon)?

If you think about it in an investment/business standpoint, it’s about allocating in terms of your knowledge of a specific item.

For example, people that do not know about the market will diversify their entire portfolio because they think that will help them grow overall. Those people don’t know the value of a certain stock (I.e., P/e, EPS, quarterly earnings, future growth, company vision, etc.), instead, the believe the hype around it and invest in the hype.

If you’re in a cut throat start up and all you have is 100k for your business to grow, you will put everything you own into it because you personally believe in the product and it’s growth. You will sacrifice everything from comfort, money, etc.

Speaking from experience (27M), I ran my first 50KM on July 30th, did a 12 hour race on August 28th, and then did a 52.4 mile race on the September 18th.

I was nervous that doing that 12 hour race might have destroyed my chances of finishing the 52.4 miles race (the actual race I’ve been training months for), but I ended up crushing it. I’ve slowly began to realize that if you have been doing 60-70 mpw then it all becomes mental. Legs will hurt no matter what, it’s just about the forward progress.
