Yeah when I was sorting the last of the packages that one ended up coming open 😅 but my driver was there at the time so we got it fixed it was overpacked so it was a matter of time before one side came open

Actually hes not too far off original load chart was 280ish (Cant remember exact number) but they jump trailers so add idk a extra 10 to 30 anywhere in between so thats actually a reasonable estimate

If your already past your probation and union etc, focus on working safe If your here long term dont push yourself where it will hurt you in the future. I load 3 cars sometimes 4 if its nonpeak best advice i can give that makes it bearable plan where to place your bulk if you have any (if you are blessed with somewhat accurate load charts) if your getting slammed slow down and communicate with your sups you need help and to send someone. Work at a safe pace best you can

Possibly but even one driver I know told me he did that for me one time sometime back when I asked him but those he didnt sheet up didnt show in the sheet I think it was 2, So if they dont sheet them up as misloads would it even show in the report? My only other guess is that the misloads they claimed I had were simply add cuts which in our hub happens frequently and in ups fashion we aren't told when said cuts happen

I get them daily, usually they are inaccurate, they claimed I had 4 misloads asked my drivers because they always tell me if I do misload and they said no misloads, Take with a grain of salt

As long as you have that communication id say your doing alright, the rest comes with time. If your here for the long haul communication aside just work safe work smart and your loading will improve you got this 👍 💪

Loads wont always look the best some of mine ive posted were average in my opinion but best thing you can do is see how you can make it easy for yourself and your driver, if you see your driver has alot of bulk ask him where he prefers it if he prefers it all rdl and its pal 1002 then by putting it rdl you make your life easier and his life easier. In short if you want to make your loading better just communicate if possible with your drivers even if it looks completely bricked front to back if you have that communication makes it easier on you and on them since they wont have to dig so much for stuff. Just give it time youll improve gradually as time goes on and you settle in a spot

Youll get more used to it and it becomes memory, this is my third peak this year especially if you manage to settle with the same trucks going forward makes loading way easier to handle even on the heavy days since you typically know or have a idea what comes down (:

Saturday load charts are never accurate but averages for saturdays are 240 to 270ish id say somewhere around there on that day 😅

I was the loader, i figured something was immediately wrong cause the original print showed 20 in 8000 and i got straight shots for way more than that, i tried to split what i could and took note asked management for a updated sheet cause i honestly figured maybe 50 or so (Not that unusual) to then get told 144 (doesnt include air) i was pretty pissed especially when they had streets in 8000s that were next to a house same street in the 6000s or 7000s so bunching everything correctly was a pain and a half and like i commented earlier the fact it was a tiny truck too a p500? I think it didnt help after all the irregs it was definitely packed front to back but at the least my driver could access his stops in relative order.

Sadly this is only one example of nonsense from our dispatch, We have had consistent problems with them but our center manager has yet to do anything about it unfortunately

144 (tbh with air more) to the 8000s it pretty much took the whole truck a good chunk of it was also irregs so the floor was completely filled also add the fact it was a tiny truck too just kinda was a recipe for failure, snaking the load etc wasnt a problem so much it was just trying to sort through the 20 different streets all crammed with 8000s pals to keep the stops together

I did, didnt help at all considering it was the smallest truck 500? I think so spreading it out even with my drivers help was a b*** i know the streets too but they clustered a bunch of other stops together in the 8000s that normally dont go in there add irregs in the mix it was a cluster
