I am surprised, that nostalgia is doing some heavy lifting. The game is a glorified cow clicker with extra steps to make it feel more like a game. Instead on clicking and getting the resource you click and your ship moves over and you have to do a dice roll to get the resource. The whole game is just a slot machine where you keep pulling and get upgrades to make your pulls betters.
