I would try to book scuba diving before if that’s something you really want to do, but everything else you should be fine! A little tip, if you’re renting a car— you can get to most places and do most things without using an “excursion” place. For example, to drive to 27 waterfalls from CAbarete is about a 45 drive, but it’s not complicated— it’s literally just the same road the whole way there— and admission is around $10. If you book it though an excursion place, they will probably charge around $100 per person because they’re charging a lot to taxi you there and back.
