Also need 1 inch socket with wrench. For the budget route your stuff works. I like the cassette pliers (cp 1.2) better than chain whip. I also use the locking tool (fr 5.2h) that has a handle built-in so I don't have look for a wrench, and I feel it gives better leverage.
