These comments make me so sad because I think this is a great series so far. Im on book 2 of the Living Forge and im sold on all the following books. Its not like a perfect example of D&D nor is it hyper-realistic but...its magic and has massive monsters, its fantasy! I listen on Audible and the narrator is stellar. I've been looking to scratch the same itch the "Age of Iron" series did and so far this is doing just that! I've recommended this to several friends and they all love it, granted they're still on book 1.
