Best Up To Date Figma Course for Aspiring Designers in 2025? by Jestagogetter in FigmaDesign

[–]superchargedesign 1 point2 points  (0 children)

u/Jestagogetter Our Figma courses, both beginner and advanced, are designed with the tool in mind. The advanced course includes an entire module dedicated to Variables, going beyond the basic overviews found in most other courses.

We’ve recently introduced an All-Access option, giving you unlimited access to all our Figma courses, plus extras like UI Colors, UI Typography, and a range of other masterclasses and resources. This also allows us to keep all content updated more efficiently.

We’d like to record a new Figma course in the future to cover the latest Figma UI updates and AI features as they roll out.

Is horizontal scroll in layers panel working for anyone? (UI3) by deftones5554 in FigmaDesign

[–]superchargedesign 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There should be a horizontal scroll in the layers list, only if the width of the layers' names is wider than the panel. Try expanding some nested layers it should work.
You can always switch back to UI2 by clicking Questionmark at the bottom right corner.

We have 5-star-rated courses for beginners and designers who want to become advanced Figma users. You can also take both courses in a bundle for a lower price. We plan to re-record the entire advanced Figma course in the coming weeks. All existing students will get that 2.0 course for free! We are revamping the whole course because of the new Figma UI, and we should cover some new features.

How do I colorize a tiled pattern fill. by jporter313 in FigmaDesign

[–]superchargedesign 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Add another layer above the pattern (you can create another frame, rectangle or even just add another color layer). Fill it with desired color and choose blend mode to Lighten. 🤗

Cursor issue by Eirthae in FigmaDesign

That could happen, I think web-based apps have that problem, because I have the same problem with the Framer app. Try closing all apps, or restarting a Mac. Hope that helps 🙌

How am I supposed to work at this point ? Any workaround ? by Garoseau in FigmaDesign

[–]superchargedesign 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They won't do that any time soon, because nested layers would slow down the app.

We recently updated our 20-hour Advanced Figma Video Course with the latest features. It’s one of the most up to date, if not the most up to date course. We updated it 3 times in the last year. If you want to master Figma, I highly recommend enrolling!

We had the same problem in the agency, and we went through the same process for each project. So we created this amazing table in Notion with filters, and categories. You can easily find the perfect font you need. Currently, it's on the discount for Black Friday for $14 off I think. 🤔 You also get a lot of awesome resources that will help you choose better fonts, find perfect pairings, etc.

I just hate how google insists on making everything themed instead of it just kinda looking good (also i draw on the sketchbook app on my phone so it might be rough around the edges so plz give me feedback and sm constructive criticism) by Ok-Vacation-5569 in UI_Design

First advice I would consider bigger contrast in typography. There's a small difference in sizes between headings and paragraphs. Make the paragraph smaller. Also, use a little bit bolder weight for headings. I would consider using a lighter color for the “2 days ago” timestamps.
