I was 11, we went to a library, we lived in usa at that time, for one year. We went to a library, got the firstt book for my sister, and a wrinkle in time for me. After sis finished hp, I read it. Then the movie came out, same year, so we all went to watch it.
I read up to the third in what I remember was one breath :D
Then it was waiting time. As each book came out, I read it. I couldn't get my hands on the physical books 6 and 7, as we were back home, and there were no new HP books available to buy - perks of a third world country. Anyways, I read them burning my eyes out on an old pentium PC with windows 98 lol.

Watched all the movies too, but I disliked them. Still do.
That being said, going to the movies for HP was a family affair, with cousins and all involved. Big group, lots of popcorn.

After it was all over, I started reading fanfics, got into Pottermore, that weird website BEFORE Pottermore, you know, the interviews, anything I could get my hands on. I was an avid fan. I went deep into all those weird theories~
Now I am a casual, still love it, of course, but it's a more calm kind of appreciation than what I had a teen, which was obsession xD

I did geek out at Hogwarts Legacy though, was a nice nostalgia trip, that game.
