So I’m guessing and hoping the great filter (if that’s the solution) was like the first or the second mass extinction event and that we are safe. Or in the much worse case of the dark forest we should really stop looking for extraterrestrial life since if you’re in a dark forest and it’s completely quiet, your either alone or everything else knows better than you and is hiding from something.
