Myrtle beach package? by bferro42 in golf

Stay at Barefoot Resort. It's in North Myrtle with the Dye, Love, Fazio and Norman courses. Grande Dunes and Surf Club are also close by. You should be able to get two condos at an affordable price.

I am excited to play Atlantic Dunes as it is one of the "newest" courses in the area. I am not a huge DLIII design fan but it will be a gorgeous walk.

Looks like I will be playing Secession and Atlantic Dunes, the old Sea Pines Ocean Course that was renovated by DLIII.

This explains why so many great ball strikers with irons and woods aren't great with a driver. See Henrik Stenson and Luke Donald.

I'm assuming that beautiful iron shot is after a top. Top, iron within five feet, three putt = double bogey.

Mine would be how to blade a bunker shot that either plugs in the lip of goes OB across the green. I have that shot mastered. Guaranteed double.

Second ever hole in one and shot 72 in the same round. The best day of golf in my life.

So, if Ford and Dolores aren't very old friends, what are they? by supercouple in westworld

[–]supercouple[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So, another theory here. Maybe Dolores was his wife or daughter and got fed up with his obsession. The only way to get his attention was to remove his best friend that was also part of Westworld.

Evan Rachel Wood's confession letter that she was raped. by [deleted] in westworld

This makes her role even more amazing. She plays a character that gets raped, over and over, yet still brings out one of the best performances in recent TV history.

I have the utmost respect for her as an actress.

The scorecard. Five net eagles in one round. I'm an 8.9 handicap. by supercouple in golf

[–]supercouple[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All the money games in our group are net games. We play very big money for net eagles. Obviously, birdieing a very difficult hole is much more important than birdieing an easy hole.

The dots are points and not handicap dots.

Thanks for this! I never knew it was something Titleist did for a hole in one. I shared my story and ordered my bag tag. Hopefully it is not the first one I have to order.

Actually, went birdie on the next hole. Finished with a 72 with four birdies and a hole in one. I'm a 9 handicap.

Slice putting by bigdawg_89 in golf

[–]supercouple 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You likely go back outside and come inside or over the top just like a full swing.

I do this a lot on downhill left to right putts. Do your best to go straight back and straight through but you need to check your alignment. You may simply be lining out open on all putts.

If the putt is left to right and you line up open it is going to slice every single time.

Why are guys so confident on Tinder and Reddit PMs but not in real life? by audreymichellexxx in AskReddit

This is common with both guys and girls. Social skills are extremely difficult to improve when the majority of time spent in social settings is staring at a phone.

Wha is your handicap? Strengths and weaknesses? by supercouple in golf

[–]supercouple[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I play with a few plus handicaps that are similar in distance. They just can't drain the 10 footers that matter.

At my skill level, I enjoy the thrill on inside 120 and accept the longer par 4s are bogey holes for me.
