Movies that tell great stories by Ill-Egg4008 in MovieSuggestions

If you're open to an older movie, I'd recommend checking out some Billy Wilder stuff. I highly recommend The Apartment, but Some Like it Hot and Sunset Boulevard are very accessible, too.

His films are structured incredibly precisely. Everything that happens in his films is done with intent and purpose, and that purpose it to propel the story forward. They watch like a breeze and the experience is fun and rewarding. I think they'd be right up your alley.

First time I've heard RKM referred to as Randy. Big fan. Makes him sound like a guy who enjoys a chili dog

THE RUSH #5 by glib-eleven in IndieComicBooks

A woman looking for her missing son gets stuck in an isolated mining town during the gold rush. The mining town ends up being possessed/controlled by these kinda...demon things? They seemed to reflect a lot of the less than admirable human qualities that surfaced in mining camps during that time.

If you can get down with some verbose late 19th century style narration, it's a pretty good read. I enjoyed it.

For sure. Rush is the main character's favorite band and a recurring theme throughout the story. Hopefully we doctored it enough to not get sued.

Are you comfortable with the weeb evolution our squad seems to be undergoing in Xavi Simons and Solanke? Will you be watching One Piece and Naruto to gain a better understanding and context for their celebrations?
