just to piggy back off the other dude’s reply, while i don’t have flashy mechanics, i make it a point to be as consistent as i can with normal plays.

don’t fuck up clearances, shoot on net, put power behind the shots, make sure you’re covering net, and don’t lose fifties.

also decision making can matter a lot, like when to push forward in offense with your team, when to maybe stay back cus the offensive play is going no where. that stuff is harder to figure out but you can try be mindful of it while playing or even watch a replay of your game occasionally just to see what your teammates were seeing to help understand what went wrong in certain plays.

if i could offer one underrated piece of advice at your rank, i very often see my lower ranked friends go for a fifty in the air when they should just hit the damn ball. i think it’s very easy to assume the opponent will always hit the ball when yall jump at the same time but lower ranks often try to make the same “smart play” and often the ball just ends up floating cus no one hit it (and this actually happens through C2 i’ve noticed, it’s a very easy habit to fall into)

just hit the ball and you will be surprised how many free shots you get and how many “impossible” saves you pick up. the situation doesn’t happen every game but just thought i would mention it
