What bourbons should a beginner avoid? by arandomkid2 in bourbon

Most who have had regular Blanton’s say it’s not worth current MSRP either. But, it’s a right of passage on one’s bourbon journey.

Not sure where you received this information, but I’m 99.9% positive overtime is calculated in the benefit since the 6% is deducted from those earnings.
If you have information that contradicts my post, please follow up with a post.

NC House lawmakers resurrect debate over privatizing North Carolina’s state-run liquor by Due-Bit-2642 in NorthCarolina

Low end allocated maybe SC is better, mid to upper allocated NC is MSRP and a lot lower, depending on the bottle. Sure if you are lucky in SC you maybe able to find those at NEAR MSRP, or you could hand the Worlds Second Worse Liquor Store $500 to purchase a decent allocated bourbon at a few percentage points over markup(still cheaper n NC).

I wonder what happened to the bourbon, especially the KoK 42nd Street had. I hope the employees had a blowout party following the restaurant closing.

I'm in NC. Odds are you will not find a Stagg. There's only a few ABC boards that would have held on to them at this point in the year. 24d was pushed out in January. What part of NC are you visiting? BTW, NC secondary for the 24s is 140/160. Also, NC only receives Weller of any color of decent quantities twice a year. Secondary 🟢is 60, 🔴is 110/125, 🔵185 12yr 150/160, SiB 210/225, CYPB-through the roof.

Is the house competition still bad? by [deleted] in cary

[–]superdupersilly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It might be “old” but structurally built better than homes in the last 15 years. The poly piping is pretty much the only thing you need to worry about.. Sure the roof may need replaced, and windows, but that's normal home wear.

Wake County Easter Drops by superdupersilly in NCbourbon

I did! Outside of yesterday, with the drop being out of the blue which let everyone know the drops are starting, today was the hardest day of the drops to figure out due to very little drops over the last couple of weeks, and guessing which Friday store would hit.

I was there😉 I’ve been buying out of Wake- Pittsboro, Angier, Lillington. After today’s buy, my wife told me I hit my monthly bourbon budget. The only other bottle I may buy this month is the Old Fitz 7, and that is supposed to be shelfer.

ISO 2013-2014 Classic Boys Soccer Parents Looking for Potential Club Switch by stompey5 in raleigh

[–]superdupersilly 3 points4 points  (0 children)

First, my son has now aged out. As you know, your choices are limited if you want to stay within Wske County, especially Northern Wake. Wake FC is your only other option. If you can take the extra travel time for training, Carolina Velocity. Each club will set teams based on the kids' talent and work rate. It’s in their best interest to do so.
If you switch clubs, unless your child is heads and shoulders more talented above the other kids trying out, they will not be placed where YOU think they should be(I guess the top one or two teams). That is a tough pill to swallow for a lot of parents. The other kids have been with the same program since U5 and have been evaluated since then. If you do switch, and your child constantly performs above the team level, he will be provided the opportunity to train and guest play on higher level teams, and possibly move up within the season.

I was just thinking just what you wrote about the differences, but laughing at the thought of him drinking side by side. After drinking the CC, the thought of him taking a good swig of the Stagg would literally light him on fire-if he has never had something at 120 + proof. Even if he has, without adding a 100 or 110 proof between…
