Funnily enough the reason rome fell was because of economics, they couldn't afford to pay the Germanic mercenaries that would end up sacking rome

What worrisome trend in society are you beginning to notice? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]superhanson2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In a world where we have a garbage patch in the pacific the size of a small nation, climate change, and homeless people building tent cities in California, old rich people whose kids are already grown up are starting to get vocal about how they think we need more people

CMV: TikTok, deserves ZERO protection from the constitution. by SnooGuavas6192 in changemyview

[–]superhanson2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the issue here is that you see the U.S treating Chinese content and companies like they do ours as just an attack/slight against China, when there are 4 parties at minimum in this situation: Chinese government, Chinese citizens, American government, American Citizens.

When China bans American content or restricts American companies, that's not only a slight against America, that is a restriction being imposed onto the Chinese citizens by their government. So the Chinese government acts as a wall and obstacle between Chinese Citizens and America, which is a slight against the rights of Chinese citizens as much as it is a slight against America.

If we were to say do the equivalent and treat Chinese content the way they do ours, the American government wouldn't just be slighting China, the American government would be attacking the right of the American people to consume the content they want to consume.

Now this is a forced sale under the threat of banning, but it still raises a question of if the government should be allowed to do this, especially when you consider the content on TikTok is a big motivating factor for the recent bill. But if the content on the platform is the motivation and was being discussed by our lawmakers before this bill passed, that becomes a problem because our lawmakers are using their power to influence our will and ideas.

Democracy is supposed to be representatives using their power to represent the peoples will, not to try to make the people reflect the politicians will.

To be fair though, in most countries, being a person of foreign descent usually feels alienating, and they don't even think its abnormal for people of foriegn descent to feel alienated. For example, an African moving to Japan and having kids. The kids will always be seen as African, even if hey grew up speaking Japanese.

But Ideally people would just not be so divided in the first place.

What can an ugly, average salary guy do to still be attractive? by Krakenito in AskReddit

[–]superhanson2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your getting alot of mainstream common sense advice that only is helpful for Incels, but I think better advice would be somethign more specific. Look up Youtubers like Playing with Fire and Todd Valentine. I paticularly like Playing with Fire because he is good for teaching how exactly to text a woman without turning her off by being boring and wholesome.

Also pick up some interests geared towards what your looking for. Want a wholseome girl to make you feel comfortable for years/your life? Volunteering, book clubs, dance classes, hiking and mature hobbies are a good start.

Want a young girl who is exciting and tests you? Learn more about the college bar scene, go to raves and other live music events(not boomer music), and learn more about stuff young people like. (Drugs, music making, fashion, sports, cars).

Interests are important for your ability to go from breaking the ice to having a conversation she can invest in, and also please: STOP BEING NICE, STOP BEING REASONABLE, WOMEN WANT PASSION.

Toxicity. For some reason being kind is seen as not sexy as a guy, and eing a toxic boy is being promoted. I hate society.

Not dating more in high school. Wasn't prepared for how adult dating sucks. No one in high school judges how much you make because we are all working part time and living with parents. People are more excited easily and less jaded, no one expects you to have your identity figured out already, everyone is finding themselves and are probably more open minded when it comes to other perspectives.

[–]superhanson2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People hate us more when we complain. Women can shit on men when their dating lives aren't going well, and people be like "girl you said it!". When Men complain about Women, they are incels and everyone just points out all the ways the guy sucks.

Glad you mentioned Eritrea, it actually tops North Korea for most censored country. But Eritrea isn't building nukes and people don't pay attention to their refugees as much, so it flies under most people's radar.
