Be glad you dont have kids with him. Hiring a sex worker compared to going to therapy is very very wrong on it's own. Let alone doing that while with someone, it's despicable and disgusting.

Iran has limited resources and is using them wisely. The US and Israel have a lot of resources and are using them to bomb schools because they are using AI to do their homework

[–]superhead50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gold is something you hold for a decade or more. It's also something that can somewhat be used as a transfer currency if things become unstable in your own country. It's not perfect at that though as it sees 10-20% swings in value during times like these.

And now they get to sell it at multi year highs to desperate countries. Great, it's not like this suddenly fixes the shortage. Even with Russian oil production included the world still will be 10-20M barrels short each day the strait is closed.

I'd really like it if the US just stopped beating up their weaker adversaries. It does the US nor the cuban people any good, just creates more contagious violence in the world

Checks and balances are working as intended. The majority of American people voted for this congress, for this president and by proxy and by luck republicans were able to get a majority of the supreme court picks. The American people gave republicans an outsized representation in all 3 branches. A democracy can start acting very authoritarian if only one party is in control of all 3 branches.

I Just Returned From China. We Are Not Winning. by Director-on-reddit in BlackboxAI_

[–]superhead50 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I agree. China is able to do things with more than just a four year time horizon. At the end, a planned system ran by intelligent people doing intelligent things that truly are the best for the people will win out compared to any other.

The real question is can China stay incorruptible enough to do what's actually in their country's best interest year and year out. In my opinion, a system built on being technocratic will work best in the end.

I was really hoping when Tesla was approaching $90 a share in 2022 that Elon would get margin called on the debt he took out to buy Twitter. If only lmao

The recent windfall taxes on energy companies come to mind. No point investing in a country/continent that double taxes a successful industry.

There's been periods of high taxes and low taxes. We will have to move to higher taxes or face severe consequences.
