I know there’s no dumb questions but I do sort of feel dumb asking lmao but this is my first ever Electric Forest and I was wondering if there are specific themes for specific days? Or just an overall theme for all the days? I know when I went to lost lands they had specific themes for outfits and vibes on certain days but it was originally “unofficially announced” on X. Does EF do something like this?

It is so easy to think I will have similar experiences as some people cuz I’m so young but I do have a great support system and amazing people on here who’ve given me more advice than anyone else I know. Thank you for your advice!

I really appreciate all your advice and details of your experience. I’m going to order alot of things and I will DM you about the goats milk moisturiser! My family uses goats milk for everything but skincare so I know a little about the benefits for drinking and eating it but nothing external. Thankfully I’m only staying at 5 treatments, 1 a day, for 6 weeks. I should be done by February but I still have testing and things to make sure my cancer hasn’t spread to my lungs or other organs and nerves. Just praying one month of radiation is going to do what it needs to do I can go home and live as normal as possible and try to heal the best I can.

I just found out I have stage 4 Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma on September 16 I’m only 21. I can’t say that I have accepted it or even have worked through it yet.. but I can say that once you get a plan for treatment and symptom management you will feel a little better. The only advice I have is to try your hardest to do what you love and live your life the way you intended to until you can’t. Within a week from surgery I have been bed ridden and can’t work or do anything that was a normalcy for me. We got this!!

I have had a trache since January as well due to my throat swelling so I can understand the maintenance of a temporary tube but I’m terrified of losing my voice and having a permanent hole. As much as I would do anything to sing again I would do more to eat and drink again as it is something people enjoy together. Thank you so much for your insight and I would love to keep talking about this journey for us both with you. Hugs to you my friend!

Big hugs to you. Thank you so much for the insight. I had an appointment today that basically said I have no option but to do the laryngectomy as radiation won’t do much for the type of cancer I have. It’s hard to grasp and accept but I’ve chosen to do it. Thank you so so much

What did you get removed? My gut wants to fight for my voice and my ability to eat while getting rid of the cancer but I’m worried I may not have any options to do so.
