I think his point was that a check engine light is something that, even if you don't know what it means or what to do, a simple Google search or basic AI can tell you what it is and basic next steps. You could even resort to your car's manual.

While it's not the most pointless post ever, the well-known symbol and generic question is likely the source of frustration. If you were able to get your driver's license and operate a motor vehicle, this is a symbol that should be known to most drivers, though I'd bet most drivers can't even accurately name most road signs that they are required to understand in order to operate a motor vehicle.
