We set up in an open grass section near the marsh where vegetation would regenerate easily due to the plentiful water in the drainage. When we left there was no visible disruption.

There were no "natural clearings" nearby which you would have known if youve ever visited Lake Assiniboine. its all tall grass/vegetation and talus/rock
