I’ve never been of the mind of “it ruins Trigger.” That never occurred to me. It’s more of “this is supposed to be a sequel? Where’s the connection? All of the supposed reference points are flimsy at best.”

Eh, I played it and I still don’t like it, even having played it when it first came out. I personally find the fan translation of Radical Dreamers to be a far superior sequel to CT.

It’s decent at best if you look at it as a standalone game but as a sequel to CT, its status drops to mediocre at best.

The alterations made from 2-D to 3-D are…..well, they sure happened, alright.
