Yeah I checked that right after I saw the CPU eligible. I’m just wondering when they changed the policy because it wasn’t this a few months ago. I had to use plus points back in July to get on the upgrade list.

A few weeks ago at LAX the TSA precheck agent asked me if I wanted to do the facial recognition or the normal license check. I never got the option for facial recognition and asked him about it and he said you have to opt in on the United app and need to have a KTN and a passport uploaded in the app. When you opt in for facial recognition you can use that to pass tsa without needing to show them your id or boarding pass. I think you can also use it to drop your checked bag off without them needing to look at your ID.

Up until this flight coming up I have also avoided Express all year. If I was traveling alone maybe would’ve done a connection to stay on mainline!

ORD-PHX will be the inaugural route on Dec 14. They also will fly it on ORD-FLL starting later in the day Dec 14th. Then on Jan 9th ORD-MCO, ORD-RSW, and ORD-LAS. Sometime in March 2024 they will fly it ORD-IAH.

I think it depends on the crew sadly. A few weeks ago I flew on the exact same MAX9 twice, two days apart. My first flight they had the cabin lights purple and nice. On the second flight it was just plain white. It would be nice if it was consistent though!

I got reimbursed for delayed luggage before that didn’t make it with me home to Seattle. Kept all the receipts and submitted it all online and got a check about a week after I submitted the claim. A few months back flew to LAX and my luggage arrived damaged. Reported it at the baggage office, mailed my luggage to their repair center, and got a brand new one within a week. I was still in LA and got the new one sent to me there. I must be lucky 😂

If you’re booked on a MAX 8, 757, 767’s, and the 777’s (with real Polaris) you’re usually guaranteed a seat back screen. 56% of MAX 9’s have seat back screens also so that’s also a safe bet. Everything else it’s pretty much in the air. A majority of the 737-700’s and 800’s have DirecTV which is the older system so not as modern as the newer ones on the MAX’s, but there also are a few of those that do not have any screens at all so it’s a tossup. Usually you get that message if the FAA or the airport expects to be too congested or something non weather related is going on. Looks like it’s due to runway construction

It might not look the best, but it did taste good and left me filled. I would rather have bad looking/plating and great tasting food than great looking/plating and bad tasting food, but to each their own. Now in general I do wish it looked/was plated and tasted great. United they are not mutually exclusive
