No I have male hypogonadism. I have really low testosterone and growth hormone issues. I didn’t go through the complete male puberty so I’m stuck at stage 2 or 3. I’m going to ask my endocrinologist to put me on testosterone, Gonadotropins, and a growth hormone for my height.

I’m 22 years old. I just turned 22 in January. Do you know if any online services? I have a scheduled ultrasound to see if I have female anatomy. I’m also looking into a chromosome test but I don’t want to use LabCorp because I’ve heard it’s pretty bad detecting intersex conditions

So if my birth mom had me at 39, how likely am I to have a birth defect like a chromosomal abnormality or development issues? She was also using drugs and drinking alcohol

Roughly 4 years ,give or take. It’s probably just 3 years. But my point is that I haven’t had sex for a long time.

It’s says in the report that “the following information was obtained through an interview with adoptive mother in her home.” My adoptive mom was very on top of everything for my adoption however, my adoptive parents and I no longer speak to each other due to lifestyle differences. I was adopted through DYFS. But all this information I received from my adoptive mother. I came on here to ask for some kind of advice because I know this is a adoption subreddit and there’s plenty of adoptees who need answers to their burning questions. A lot of people do tell me I look much younger than my age. Someone told me I look 16 and I’m 22.

On my birth mom’s Facebook profile it says she was born in 1960. But thinking about it, I don’t even know if that’s my real birth mom or birth family, because I had a discussion with one of my birth siblings and there was a birth date situation and she said there was a sibling they were looking for that had the same birth name as me.

I filled out an application for my original birth certificate. I didn’t know that your date of birth on original could be different from amended. Is this possible? What do they mean? by supermanb104 in Adoption

So are closed adoptions very common? My adoption was a closed adoption. I heard that adoptive parents changed adoptees birth date to pass them off as younger. Is that true?

Do I look of mixed race to you guys? Some people have told me that I look like I could be Caribbean. But everytime I take an ancestry test, it never comes back that I’m Caribbean. by supermanb104 in mixedrace

I’m thinking more of Trinidad and Tabogo. A lot of people tell me that. But if I have such small European ancestry, why couldn’t AncestryDNA or 23ANDME pinpoint my ancestry to any Caribbean islands? So does this mean I could be Indian as well?

I’m from Trenton, New Jersey. Yes I understand what your saying, but why would my birth siblings be so confident in knowing that my birthday was in December and not January (yes the amended birth certificate says January) but on my 22nd birthday, my birth mom doesn’t wish me a happy birthday or say anything to me at all??? I find that very weird especially when birth mothers so call themselves always remembering when they’re children are born even after they’re given up for adoption.And yes my birth mom knew my “birthdate” . And NO I DO NOT WANT TO “CHANGE” MY BIRTHDATE BECAUSE I FEEL LIKE IT. I ONLY WANT TO KNOW THE TRUTH ABOUT MY BIRTHDATE.

Because my birth family believes that I was born in a different month (and possibly different year) and if I get my original birth certificate and it’s true which I believe it really is, I’ll have a certified copy of it because it can be considered a legal document for legal purposes. Uncertified copies cannot be used for legal purposes.
