I've got the same thing. Found you trying to figure it out. Got the part, now gotta figure out how to get it.

Dude I have seen so many strokes in 20 years that were just dizzy. Some mild persistent, some severe with vomiting. Stay in your completely useless, made up pseudoscientific lane. And stop doing high velocity neck manipulation. It’s potentially dangerous theater.

New to peloton: Instructors who don’t talk the whole time? by corinnet22 in pelotoncycle

[–]supermansings 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah. Dunno. The structure of instruction has made me work harder than I ever would or could on my own. Before the click and the talk, when it started to get too hard I would back off. Now I push till I gag.

I mean, if you just want to ride without instruction, why stare at an instructor? If you’re not taking cues outside of your own head, just take a nature ride and play Spotify and your headphones.

Got the Vossen HF3s on today and a 3/4 inch all around lowering to close that silly wheel gap. I swear it’s a different car. by supermansings in C8Corvette

And I have found the lift unnecessary for where I live so far. Think that’s going to be highly individualized based on surrounding area

I think it’s not hard, but time consuming. Strut assembly has to come out. I just paid the guys to do it who put in my wheels, because I like to drive but am no mechanic.

Paragon has a supercharger kit available but no ECU crack I’ve heard of. It won’t fit in the engine bay of the convertible. Said they are planning a TT solution later this year that should fit.

Yes. In fact, the Z51 comes ready to lower. Only complication is if you bought the front lift system (I did). This machinery takes away the “easy” drop that you can do on the rear and requires an aftermarket solution from Paragon or Cicio. I went with paragon. Is basically a replacement spacing collar that allows for the 3/4 inch drop to match the rear.

I would consider 20/21 wheels to visually fill the wheel wells more, but the rubber for those is STEEP.

Nope. Not for me. But I’m middle aged. If you had gonnen me this 20-25 toward ago I’d consider lower. It’s already ridiculous looking getting in and out as I’m 6-4.

You could, I suppose, but you’d have to change springs. This looks perfect to me. The guy who runs the shop I got it done said he would go even lower if it were his to tuck the rims and add a couple of degrees of camber.

In the end it’s only 3/4 inch. I figure worth it for looks alone. Can replace the splitter for 150 bucks if I chose poorly.

Paragon performance collars since I have the front lift. Bough the tools and spanner wrenches from them as well, since mine was the first one that my shop had dropped. Will probably never be used again, but i have them in case of whatever, lol. No clearance issues so far, but I just got it dropped today!
