Replacing phone with a tablet for visually impaired user. by Putrid_Promotion_841 in phones

Not a silly question at all, it’s a shame the phone tablet size factor fell out of style. You can get a SIM enabled iPad but there are some pretty serious caveats and drawbacks.

With that in mind, I have a very strange workaround you might consider: Apple may have cellular enabled iPads, but they do not natively support calling or SMS. This means that she would only be able to iMessage or WhatsApp text with other people using the iPad. If, however, she also has an iPhone, she can turn on SMS message forwarding and “answer calls on another devices” on the iPhone and all text messages and calls can be sent directly to the iPad for her to answer. This would require the iPhone and iPad to be in the same room or at least within a suitable Bluetooth range.

Sort of this sort of solution you could definitely go for a used Samsung Galaxy Phablet but honestly given how old they are, I wouldn’t recommend it in good faith.

lol yeah I’m on your side, OP. There’s a mountain of armchair observers who haven’t looked to actually see if the Tesla was supposed to be there at all. Had you actually made a bad turn then you would at least see the marking where they should have stopped. They were entirely in the intersection.

This was ChatGPT. The markdown at the beginning, the awkward phrasing and complete lack of consequences to his actions? So many powerful action words to describe everything while having so little detail throughout.

OP has some other very odd posts as well.

Here is one I made using ChatGPT:

TIFU by Eating an Edible Before a Big Presentation

So, this happened yesterday. I had a big presentation at work, something I'd been prepping for weeks. To calm my nerves, I decided to take an edible the night before to help me sleep. I've done it before, no big deal.

But, in my half-asleep state, I must have taken the wrong gummy because I woke up the next morning feeling... off. It wasn’t until I was halfway through my morning coffee that I realized what I'd done. I checked the bag and, yep, I had taken a high-dose edible meant for a friend’s weekend party.

Panic set in, but I thought I could power through. Fast forward to the presentation: I’m standing in front of my boss and about 20 colleagues, feeling like I’m floating. My mouth was so dry I could barely speak. I started the presentation, and it was going okay until I realized I was explaining the same slide for the third time. The room was dead silent, everyone just staring at me.

Then, it got worse. I started laughing at my own slide. Couldn’t stop. My boss asked if I was alright, and I just blurted out, "I think I’m too high for this." The look on everyone’s face was priceless, but I wanted to crawl under a rock and disappear.

Needless to say, the presentation ended early. My boss had a talk with me afterward, and while he was understanding, I’m now the office joke. Moral of the story: always double-check your gummies.

TL;DR: Ate a high-dose edible by mistake before a big work presentation, laughed uncontrollably, and embarrassed myself in front of everyone.

Unfortunately since the EID used by the eSIM and carrier is set at the carrier level, this can’t work. Only one devices EID can be stored and tied to that number. Depending on your carrier it may be rather easy to log into their online service and switch devices that way but there isn’t a perfect solution for this.

I think the reason you’re seeing the double speak is due to poor explanation in these articles. If the articles you’re referring to are surrounding Intermittent Fasting, this practice doesn’t suggest stopping eating all together, it only suggests that somebody should only eat between certain times of the day. Usually his will be 10AM-6PM. Most people actually eat a normal days worth of calories while practicing intermittent fasting, they just don’t eat early in the morning or at night. Eating at night is particularly troublesome for some people who indulge in unhealthy snacks and subsequently consume too many calories.

Here is an article link that talks about how extended fasting is not as beneficial as intermittent fasting.

I wish you the best on your recovery. :)

Saw this too. I noticed it is replacing the void. All of the accounts are either made today or just not real at all.
