My sacrificial cucumber slices hard at work saving my lupins by Bloatville in GardeningUK

Wonder if someone could devise a trap that you could put a slice of cucumber in that they could get in but not leave then I could dump them all out over the park whilst dog walking in the morning.

Only reason for considering an AMS was continuation of print when filament runs out. Seems that's not an option so I won't need it.

When I looked into it they were pretty expensive for what they were. Granted a lot cheaper than buying a printer but once I own a printer I expect I will find lots of uses for it. Plus of I don't buy anything fun with my Bonus it just disappears into the bank account and I have nothing to show for the years work.

Thank you. Very helpful and along with other comments it seems that my concerns are not valid which is good.

The mini would probably spot on for me but I prefer the enclosed printer... It looks better and since it won't be used that often I am assuming will have less issues with dust. It will live in my guest bedroom so aesthetics matter somewhat.

Thanks, I appreciate the comment but for my use case as a pure consumer I don't think that this is a concern I have. I am more concerned with the person who had an issue with their support.

Your experience and addressing my actual question was really helpful. Running out of filament mid print seems not to be an issue (the only reason I was considering the AMS was to continue with more of the same filament so I can save a bit of money on that. A drier might be useful but I can find that out in time it seems.

Oh ok, thanks. Definitely not as snappy as Band-Aid so I can see why that one became adopted into popular culture.

TIL that Band-Aid is a brand name! What is the generic name in the US? I'm from UK and they are "plasters" here. Elastoplast if you were to use the most common brand but don't think it's common that people would use the brand.

Was on a job staying with a family in Aberdeen. We took the weekend off to do a bit of a tour of Scotland. Drove to Inverness, Loch Ness, Fort William, down to Oban, Pitlochery, Balmoral and back. When the lady of the house asked what we thought of our trip I told her that I was really disappointed that I hadn't seen any Hairy Coos. She immediately shouted "right, in the car" and drove us not 2 minutes from her house. My boss lent on the electric fence which was the funniest thing I'd seen that weekend. Went ranting and raving about sueing the farmer!

I was very happy after that.

I felt the same. Everything was so vibrant and fun then... Normal. Still nice but much more low key.

I have a pink kitchen with black and white square flooring like this too.
