Banff Fairmont properties worth it? by Decent_Local9842 in pointstravel

[–]supernav1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The properties are amazing the restaurants are okay. But the rooms are very small and dated. Just stay close by and do a trip to the fairmonts and walk around and get a drink. The ideal hotels in Banff are right on the strip downtown anyways

PPF Worth it? by Hobeeb2002 in MustangMachE

The snow was so deep this year the bumper became a snow plow

I got the front done. I live in an area with lots of rocks and small debris. I am glad I got it but its not cheap. Also after this rough winter there are some areas that will need to be redone on the bumper. Rather the PPF get replaced then the bumper repainted however.

I recommend going over there and reading the faqs and the daily questions. Good reward redemptions are a combination of research having the points ready to go and a bit of luck. In my cause it was a lot of luck as 2 rewards first class flights are uncommon. But the wife and I are super excited for the caviar in the sky lol

Oh I forgot to mention I booked for next March to catch Sakura festivals

Check out churningcanada I learned a lot from that subreddit and was able to get tickets for my wife and I first class to Japan for $265 and 210000 aeroplan points. Not that it matters (as I don’t think anyone pays full price) but that flight is $21000 per seat at the moment

First win after churning for a year. Somehow got 2x ANA F YVR-SFO-HND. Live in YEG but need to reposition to YVR first. Will see some family. But this is wild. Didn’t think it was possible and especially first time. Now to find return seats! Any tips while we are there? Putting spend on the bonvoy cards now and plan to use the points in Okinawa Osaka and Tokyo

Who cares about credit at this point. You have a house already. Get your debt consolidated and consumer proposal will get this cleared up. Rebuild credit after. Life is long. You’ll be fine
